Our team of consultants and experts.
Carlos Poblete Bennett
Director of P&B Consultorías
Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica. B.Sc. in Business and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica.
Carlos began his career in consulting in the mid-1990s, in various projects developed by national and foreign investment banks, as well as in merger processes.
In the year 2000, he founded P&B Consultorías with a special focus on economic advice, in a country where the development of competition law and other regulations turned out to be key in several firms’ competitive strategy.
Occasionally, during the first years of P&B, economic advice was provided in association with external consultants. Years later, and over a decade ago, more economists joined this project founded in 2000 in a permanent manner.
Carlos has in-depth knowledge of the operation of primary markets in agribusiness and their production chains, in numerous sectors, where he has directed various projects, with long and medium-term effects.
As director of P&B, he has led projects in the steel, energy, investment funds, television and telecommunications industries, among others. Advice has been provided both internally to contracting companies and private institutions, as well as on the public sector.
Due to the nature of the services provided, Carlos has vast experience and knowledge regarding the different competition venues, such as Chile’s Competition Court (TDLC), the National Economic Prosecutor’s Office (FNE) and the National Commission in Charge of Investigating Price Distortions on Imported Goods (CNDP).
